In Turku you can play everything from football, soccer, handball and icehockey to floorball, volleyball, basketball and much more. You can practise taekwondo, boxing, dancing and frisbee golf and athletics. This is of course just a small part of all the different sports you can do in this place if you want a new hobby. Every now and then we will post something about a different sport we have tried in Turku with Kira. I'm gonna start with HANDBALL, the best sport of them all!;) I play it myself and love it so much.
There is only one handball club in Turku (and I play there, obviously) and it's called Åbo IFK or ÅIFK. The games are played in Samppalinnan palloiluhalli (aka Julia's other home).
