THE dance

So as I told you there was a big big dance-thing tonight in every high school in Tku. When the last year students are leaving high school, those who are on the second grade (my grade) perform many dances from old times... and it was amazing! We danced at VPK-talo, an old building for firemen. Here are some pix!!!

PS HELP!!! There is a very nice place in tku, called Kuralan Kylämäki and there go fowks every day to see cute animals etc etc and now they are planning on building houses there?! To stop this, join THIS group on Facebook!!! I beg you.

I don't know what to tell you about what's going on in Turku... Because I have so many things to do right now, regarding school. I haven't even met my dear Julianos, the more dedicated Quelmüde-writer, in a long time.

Today I read the news and heard that things are going better in Egypt, yippiyey! I also saw these pictures, and the first and the second one is about a big happening i Tku tonight, the final in the Finnish Eurovision, which is arranged in Caribia... In Caribia you can't only go on concerts, you can also swim (aah) and stay there for the night because it's a hotel. And outside Caribia is "Posankka" a statue or something, which is a mix of a pig and a duck. It's pink.
The third and the last picture is about a new "bar" in Turku... MADE OF ICE!!!! I mean, WOW, HOW cool is that?? It's built by the river near the big hotels... wowww I really have to go there as soon as possible. But surprise, surprise I'm still very busy and don't have time for anything else but school and handball.... and of course Quelmüde:)

It was so good!!! I loved it! A film filmed in Turku. Could it get any better??? NO!!! I really, really, really recommend it to you all... the starring stars were awesome. Mikko Leppilampi, Jasper Pääkkönen, Antti Reini, etc. W-O-W.

The last post didn't seem to be very interesing, so I'll just tell you something now that might be more interesting.... It's only 71 days 'til ENRIQUE IGLESIAS IS COMING TO TURKU!!! Can't wait to be there...... I'm so gonna go up on scene and dance with him... I'm such a good dancer. Not.

Tomorrow is the Grand opening. Turku the European Capital of Culture. Fireworks (Katy Perry-Firework is good btw). Thousands of people. No Julia. F###.

Yep, as I told you on wednesday I wont be participating tomorrow, at least I won't see the whole show, because I'm in Helsinki playing handball. Too bad!
From one thing to another, I promised you to write about all the cultural things that will happen this year, but I realised they are too many, so I picked the ones I myself like the most. Let the big year begin!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!!!

Yesterday was the last day of 2010, which means that today is the first day of 2011!!!

Went to 3 different parties and came back early this morning. Something else that's important to remember is that this year is the big year. Turku is the European Capital of Culture 2011! It's gonna be amazing, the grand opening ceremony is 15 January. I will be there.

Christmas is here

Sorrryyy, haven't posted anything in a long time! Now I only have one day left at school and then finally I get to rest and eat gingerbreads, porridge with cinnamon and so on :) mmmm! 5 days left!!!
Anyway, I went downtown today and went to the "Christmas Market". The last time I was there was perhaps 5 years ago so it was nice to see it all again. -20 degrees in Turku at the moment, you might think it's bad but with the warmth from my friends' hearts I will survive it of course. And greetings to Carolina who decided to go to Thailand for Christmas, and to Eva who is in Paris and to Samuel who went to India and to Ranta who's in Miami and special EXTRA special greetings to Stina (aka. Ms Florida) who I miss so so so much. Come back soon !!! (and to Kira of course, come to Turku soon I need you like the roses need the rain.)
