There's a sister in my webcam

I saw Pocanhontas yesterday and I started liking John Smith. Or actually I saw the film last night and after that, at 3.30 am, I went to the sauna. You might wonder how that's possible because I should go to school the next day ... but NOPE! TURKU IS ON VACATION!!!nice. However, my sis and I will watch a film today, perhaps the Little Mermaid if we get really bored or otherwise something funny, like The Hangover. It's a legend.

THE dance

So as I told you there was a big big dance-thing tonight in every high school in Tku. When the last year students are leaving high school, those who are on the second grade (my grade) perform many dances from old times... and it was amazing! We danced at VPK-talo, an old building for firemen. Here are some pix!!!

PS HELP!!! There is a very nice place in tku, called Kuralan Kylämäki and there go fowks every day to see cute animals etc etc and now they are planning on building houses there?! To stop this, join THIS group on Facebook!!! I beg you.

I took a walk in Vartivuori and it was so beautiful out there. But wish me luck (!!!) because tonight my school is having a big big dance-thing that is tradition for Finnish high schools. Shit. I'm nervous and I just went to fix my hair and now I look like if someone had thrown a bucket full of spaghetti on me. Nice. Pix from the dance 2morrow!

According to what you answered the question "How can we improve our blog?" most of you want more posts about the people from Turku. Alllriight! I will give you what you want.
Tomorrow it is Valentine's Day so don't forget to say "hey, happy Valentine's Day" to your friends. In my school you can tomorrow send an anynomous rose/letter to someone you like... nice. Don't just know yet who I can send a letter... hmmm...

Today I read the news and heard that things are going better in Egypt, yippiyey! I also saw these pictures, and the first and the second one is about a big happening i Tku tonight, the final in the Finnish Eurovision, which is arranged in Caribia... In Caribia you can't only go on concerts, you can also swim (aah) and stay there for the night because it's a hotel. And outside Caribia is "Posankka" a statue or something, which is a mix of a pig and a duck. It's pink.
The third and the last picture is about a new "bar" in Turku... MADE OF ICE!!!! I mean, WOW, HOW cool is that?? It's built by the river near the big hotels... wowww I really have to go there as soon as possible. But surprise, surprise I'm still very busy and don't have time for anything else but school and handball.... and of course Quelmüde:)

Dennis Pizzeria

THANKS it was a very sarcastic and interesting evening, Caro and Eva hahaha I had a lot of fun!

We went to Dennis, a pizza place that you have to go to if you come to Turku, it's considered one of the best restaurants in Finland and is a typical thing in my hometown. However this was my first time there, so I should really feel ashamed. You're not a real inhabitant of Tku if you haven't been to Dennis....
And the result was that I liked it ! :) Unfortunately I took a pizza with meat from a poor moose when I wanted a pizza with tuna (my mistake) and unfortunatel this moose pizza was the most expensive one... great..

What is a typical day in Turku like? I asked a few of our dear readers wat they think and here are some of the answers:

A typical day in Tku is

• lot of good food
• sporting and exercising etc
• Café Latte
• shopping
• eating sushi (the one who answered that must be very rich)
• running around at the Market Place
• sitting by the Aura river
• chilling at Skanssi (we will tell you more about this place l8er)
• falling 1234 times because it's so slippery
• dancing @ The Monkey
• taking pictures
• having fun with friends (probably not only typical for Tku..)
• reading what Turku the European Capital of Culture is up to

(The fat words are somethn that I've been doin 2day)

My typical day didn't have all of the things mentioned above, but at least there was

good food
